SMIITY was recognised as a “Top Innovator” by the “Wireless Technology Forum” on 15 March 2018 in Atlanta in the United States of America. This forum showcases and recognises the most innovative mobile and wireless companies present in the United States of America.

Cinfães is the latest municipality to join the SMIITY family, mobile application of smart tourism developed by mobinteg. Fernando Pinto, founder of mobinteg, will present the solution tomorrow at 13h30, in Pavilion 1 – Stand 1A01 of the Lisbon Tourism Fair (BTL), national tourist fair that takes place annually at FIL (Feira Internacional de Lisboa).

All because SMIITY has partnered with Blueticket, which allows app users to buy tickets as they pass by cultural venues.

Last week another edition of FITUR – Feria Internacional del Turismo took place in Madrid, one of the main tourism events of the year on a global scale, as proven by the more than 250,000 visitors it received.

The Madeira Botanical Garden Engenheiro Rui Vieira registered, in 2017, the highest number of visitors ever: more than 376,000.

SMIITY, mobinteg’s project, was elected the best international tourism app in the category “Tourist Guide”, in the App Tourism Awards 2018. These awards are delivered annually, in Madrid, by FITUR (International Tourism Fair).

mobinteg developed the solution “PhotoID”, which introduces in the market the functionality of voice recognition, for the company UScope, which operates in the United States of America. Intended for experts and insurers, it allows to create automatic and editable reports with photos and text through the smartphone, avoiding the use of additional equipment.

Portuguese startup mobinteg continues to work on product development and support, particularly in the North American market. The company is around five years old and wants to grow “in all aspects” and has recently launched the app ‘Tá Pedido.

SMIITY, mobinteg’s smart tourism app, is finalist of the 5th edition of the App Tourism Awards 2018, in the category “Best International Tourism App – Tourist Guide”. It is the only Portuguese app competing in the final of the competition, which takes place on January 18 at FITUR in Madrid.
