Due to the orange weather warning in Madeira, the presentation of SMIITY was postponed to May 10th, at 10 am, at Levada das 25 Fontes/Rabaçal.

It should be remembered that the SMIITY solution will be implemented thinking of tourists who enjoy outdoor activities and nature lovers, resulting from a partnership between mobinteg and the Regional Secretariat for Environment and Resources. This solution is compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices.

The purpose is that the centuries-old species that make up the Laurissilva forest, unique in this part of the globe, ‘communicate’ with tourists and explorers, transporting the Internet of Things (IoT) concept to a wild, rich and almost untouched environment.
