SMIITY – SMART Interactive cITY is a mobile application, compatible with both Android and iOS devices, which wants to raise the classic tourist guides to another level and make cities more interactive and communicative with citizens and tourists.

The application, which was highlighted in this year’s edition of the Web Summit in Portugal, integrates and interacts with beacons – devices that emit the signals captured by the app through Bluetooth, which interprets them and presents contextualized information about that specific point, that can go from texts and images to any multimedia content.

The user thus has access to points of interest, news, events and trails available in the location in which he is.
