The Municipality of Lagoa has taken another step in the transition to a smart destination, with the app Lagoa Açores. This application was created through mobiSHOUT!, an integrated communication platform developed by mobinteg, which allows companies and institutions to implement and share content in a simple, practical and high quality way, through a mobile application.
The app Lagoa Azores is a useful and effective communication tool, both for residents and visitors, who can get to know the most emblematic places of the Azorean municipality, keep track of events and discover curiosities about the region.
Through the interaction with Beacons, small signal emitters that interact with mobile devices via Bluetooth, the user receives contextual information on your mobile device, related to the route you are taking or the points of interest closest to you, as a true interactive guide.
For that the user just needs to have Bluetooth connected on his smartphone or tablet and let himself be guided on an enriching visit, in which he will receive indications for a complete and interactive experience, namely all points of interest, through the interactive map and the suggestions of walking trails through Nature.
