In partnership with Floema, mobinteg has developed the new Voltas de Mar app for the Municipality of Peniche. This solution, developed using the mobiSHOUT! integrated communication platform, allows all residents and tourists to discover the best walking routes in the municipality in an interactive and inclusive way.
Composed of three complementary routes, the Voltas de Mar app helps you discover the walking routes that run along the coast of the municipality and in the city of Peniche. It allows the enjoyment and interpretation of various sites of heritage and landscape interest, on routes bathed by the Atlantic.
In addition, during the walks, the user can interact with the intelligent signage installed by Floema, by scanning QR codes to access useful information and audio guides.
The routes available are:
– CAMINHO DO ATLÂNTICO (ATLANTIC WAY) – part of the GR11/E9, it runs along the coastline of the entire municipality of Peniche for more than 30 km, where history and memory combine with stunning scenery, with the Berlenga Reserve on the horizon;
– VOLTAS DE MAR – an urban route with a circular route of less than 8km, it includes an important heritage site, testimony to an ancestral community experience linked to the sea and fishing;
– PAPÔA’S DISCOVERY – a circular route for the whole family, approximately 3km long, on the Papôa peninsula which, due to its important geological, natural and cultural heritage, deserves a careful visit.
