The app SMIITY – Smart Interactive City will be available at the International Chocolate Festival in Óbidos between March 10th and April 2nd to inform visitors in real time about exhibitors, showcookings and musical shows taking place in the venue.

The application created by the Portuguese company mobinteg, specialized in the development of mobile and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, intends to show its versatility by customizing its “smart city” service for the Chocolate Festival of Óbidos.

The solution uses beacons to give tourists and citizens information about cities when they need them. During the International Chocolate Festival, SMIITY will serve as a festival agenda for the participants and, at the same time, as a “tour guide” for those who want to get to know Óbidos.
